Welcome to Mike's website dedicated to those who wish to improve their golf.

With the new undercover driving range and video analysis classroom learning golf has not been easier. The academy boasts the following facilities:

• 6 Bay covered practice range - with Gel mats
• Indoor coaching room
• Video Analysis equipment
• Target greens on range to help with distance
• 6 Hole short course
• Practice bunkers
• Practice putting and chipping green
• Outside grass hitting area
• 9 hole par 32 course can be used for playing lessons.

Smartpro Coaching System

The Mike Dodd Golf Academy uses the smartpro system to complement it's coaching. This system allows you to have an online coaching page dedicated to the student to help them learn. All lessons and other important data can be stored in files on the personalised site to help and accelerate learning. Every student will also receive a coaching file to hold important information regarding what to practice and other interesting files. There is also practice cards to keep your practice interesting and children will be issued certificates for passing skills games. All in all a great place to learn golf and have fun.

Coaching Packages

Mike has also created coaching packages for those individuals who would like to save money by buying lessons in bulk. Below are packages that include monthly lessons, unlimited practice on the new range and membership. By booking a series of lessons you not only save money but will progress much quicker with regular checkups.

Available Packages

Birdie - 12 golf lessons (1 a month for a year)

Eagle - 12 golf lessons & unlimited practice on range

Albatross - As above and golf club membership

Condor - Lessons, membership, practice & add one of the below

Gym membership, personal trainer, sports therapist, mind coach or chiropractor.

Individual lesson prices are:

• £25.00 1/2 hour adults
• £15.00 1/2 hour under 18years
• £45.00 1 hour adults
• £50.00 1 hour video lesson

Members of Sturminster Marshall Golf Club receive a members discount of 20% off.
